Disabled Facilities:
Disabled car parks will be clearly signposted on the day of the show. There is NO disabled parking on the actual showfield, all disabled parking is within close proximity of the main showground. At most toilet areas, indicated on show field map (available on show day) there will be a disabled ‘portaloo’ toilet facility. There is a disabled toilet situated within the Barn. For disabled changing facilities, please use the area designated within The Barn. At present, there is no designated disabled viewing area. For people of limited mobility the rough terrain can become slippy and uneven, the show field is very spread out and a lot of walking is required. The show does not have any 'mobility' scooter facilities, if you do bring your own please note that the show field does get very congested at times, however is relatively flat in nature. Carers refunds are available. The carer will receive the refund of their ticket, the person they are caring for does not get a refund. Carers must pay full price at the entrance gate then go to the Secretary’s office to produce proof of being a carer and complete a ‘carers refund request form’. Carers are admitted for free on the understanding that the disabled visitor would be unable to attend the Show without them. You will be required to supply proof of care requirement, such as Personal Independence Payment, Disability Living Allowance, Carers Allowance or Blue Badge Registration number.
